Thank you for your interest in Dancing Otter Forge. My name is Mark Schneider and I am a metalsmith that specializes in historically inspired knives, swords and jewelry.
I have always been fascinated by ancient and medieval daily life. At an early age I had the opportunity to become involved in medieval re-enactment; it was there I discovered the art of bladesmithing. Unlike many of my medieval counterparts I have sole authorship over my work. As a result I have had the opportunity to also developed skills as a wood worker, jeweler and sculptor.
